The original textile work is created by painting directly on to the fabric, the fabrics are often reclaimed producing differing qualities. Some fabrics will allow the colours to bleed similar to watercolour paper, or if the material is more of a heavy weight canvas it will look like an original painting.  Each piece has free motion embroidery added to enhance a linear quality with added texture and stitch qualities to enrich the surface.  This particular way of working, with reclaimed fabrics, paint and stitch in combination creates a soft impressionistic piece of textile art which is completely unique.
